Nathan was gracious enough to host us at short notice and what a find Silkwood is. Whilst I'd been aware of it for a number of years this was my first chance to shoot there. A number of areas to shoot in so you can work studio lighting or natural light as you need. Couple of interesting spaces that reflect the mill and aged setting. A plethora of seats, chairs, sofas and posing options and more lights than I really knew what to do with, settling on two for the most part. And being a mill, Silkwood has the al important ceiling height so that you can get good height on your lights and use a book for great portrait lighting positioning and angles. Nathan was attentive without being in the way.
